Bike To Work Day 2012 Video | Time-Lapse Of Journey To Work From San Fran To Palo Alto

This is one guy’s commute to work on his bicycle, staged in honor of Bike To Work Day.

Bike To Work Day is an initiative that has been running since 1956, after the League of American Bicyclists first originated the idea. Since then it has taken place annually across North America and beyond.

This video is a time-lapse of one guy’s journey from his home in San Francisco to his workplace in Palo Alto. It looks like a fair old slug between the two, so it’s no wonder he doesn’t do it all year round.

As I work from home I cannot really participate in Bike to Work Day. I guess I could ride around the block for a bit in the morning and afternoon, but that would be a little pointless.
