In 2015 a film Sicario was released. It starred Emily Blunt, Benicio del Toro, Josh Brolin, and Victor Garber, and told the story of an FBI agent trying to take down a Mexican drug cartel.
Now, in 2018, we have the sequel. Titled Sicario: Day of the Soldado, it once again stars Josh Brolin and Benicio del Toro.
This video is a review of Sicario 2 by Schmoesknow. Brolin is still going after the cartel, but the intensity of the drug war at the border has ramped up considerably.
This looks like a solid sequel, although most critics are suggesting it doesn’t quite live up to the original. But then how many sequels do?
