17-year-old Rehtaeh Parsons Commits Suicide after being Raped and bullied News Video

Just last Tuesday, a 17-year-old Canadian girl hung herself after never recovering from an alleged rape by four teenage boys. Her mother, Leah Parsons made the tough decision to take her off life support this past Sunday and let her rest in peace after having been bullied by her community along with the rape. She deserves better than some shitty town in Canada, that’s for sure.

Her mother said there was actually a photo taken of the alleged rape assault that went viral on the internet in 2011 earning rather than support from her community, intense bullying instead, leading her to a deep depression she could not recover from.

Aside from the bullying being psychotically wrong, the police ended the investigation due to there being “not enough evidence.” They believed there were no grounds to charge the four boys for the crime after hey investigated it for a year.
Now how is it that the evidence can not be located after a photo went viral? This is why everyone hates the police.

Now according to the CBC, hundreds of comments have been posted on Facebook as a tribute to Rehtaeh demanding that someone in this heinous situation be held accountable for her death. One post said it quite perfectly, “Clearly the justice system failed her, society failed her, the school system failed her, the mental health system failed her.”

Well, there goes my thoughts on moving to Canada. They’re law system sucks even worse then ours!
