Today is the fourth of July… just a date in every country around the world, apart from in the USA where it means something special, but being British, I have no idea what.

Hopefully this video will be able to educate me as to the meaning of Independence Day… woah, hang on a minute: is this guy serious or pulling my plonker?

I’m pretty sure this is a satire, but you never can be sure, as nationalism is rife these days. Whatever dude, we English still own you guys, at least in our own minds.

And just for the record, we’re not trying to get all chummy, you need us as we’re the only country dumb enough to go along with your plans to invade every country which doesn’t bow to your whim. So there!
