Jimmy Kimmel recently carried out some absolutely pointless social experiments on unsuspecting members of the public. Most of which tested our inherent cynicism.
The results are meaningless, obviously, but watching the pranks play out is thoroughly entertaining.
The fun begins with a $100 bill buried deep within a bucket of gravy. It takes ages for anyone to reach inside, but then two other guys try and find more money. There isn’t any.
We then see a guy pretending to be stuck in a trashcan, and a giant tooth who wants to clean people’s teeth. Eventually, both sucker someone in, though it takes some time to beat the L.A. cynicism.
