A YouTuber called Adam Saleh claims he and his friend were kicked off a Delta Airlines flight for speaking Arabic.
Saleh released a video showing what happened on the plane, and explaining his version of events. But it’s a version of events being contradicted by others on the flight.
It looks as though rather than just speaking Arabic, Saleh and his travelling companion were being loud, obnoxious, and generally making people feel uncomfortable. Which is the real reason they were removed from the plane.
Saleh is well known for making prank videos, and it looks extremely likely this is just another lame attempt at a “social experiment”.
Racism and Islamophobia are bad. But exploiting a situation to gain publicity for your YouTube channel is truly odious.
