Cat lovers will either adore this video and laugh until they cry or hate it and want to rip out the limbs of those who made it. I’m in the former camp because it’s fun and while it may look cruel, cats need to be taken down a peg or two and shown who’s boss occasionally.

This YouTube video shows the art of advanced cat yodeling. It basically turns any old moggy into a tuneful and state of the art musical instrument. And all it requires is for you to annoy your cat for a couple of seconds.

After watching this video, and laughing uncontrollably at it, I thought I’d give it a go with my own cat, Hendrix. I did get a few notes out of him using the kissing machine technique but had to stop the performance when he hissed at me and looked like he wanted blood.

Try this by all means but I’d recommend you take the experts’ advice and protect yourself from scratches. I didn’t take those precautions and have an armful of cuts to show for my stupidity. You have been warned.
