I’m a big fan of air guitar. I know it’s not a real sport, and when you do it you look a bit weird, but I can’t help myself, it’s fantastic fun.
Actually thinking about it, since I bought and started playing Guitar Hero on the Ps2 I haven’t done so much air guitaring. It’s now limited to when I’m at a gig, where I embarrass myself in front of everyone.
So I wonder how embarrassed this guy is while doing it on stage at the air guitar world championships last week. When you get this good, I doubt that you worry about how you look, and you just go for it.
This Japanese guy Ochi “Dainoji” Yosuke won with this excellent performance, strumming along to The Offspring. That makes it twice in a row that he’s taken the title.
I think I’ll stick to Guitar Hero, I look more sensible, I feel like I’m actually achieving something, and I don’t end up looking like such a complete ass!
