BioWare, the company responsible for the Mass Effect series, has revealed a brand new game at E3 2017.
Called Anthem, this new game is an open-world sci-fi shooter which looks and feels very similar to Destiny.
This video is a gameplay reveal for Anthem, and it has to be said it looks fantastic. We get to see your exosuit-wearing character charging off to save some of his fellow freelancers.
The parallels with Destiny are striking. Anthem looks exactly the same, and the gameplay even feels very similar.
The problem for me is I hated Destiny, so I’m out. However, Destiny is a hugely popular game, so it’s no surprise to see BioWare trying to forge its own version.
