This video introduces us to The Cat House on the Kings, an inspiring no-kill cat sanctuary in the heart of California. The feline haven is the brainchild of Lynea Lattanzio, who lives on the 12-acre property with around 800 cats.

It’s very easy to poke fun at folks with a whole lot of cats, but I’m not sure whether the “crazy cat lady” title really applies to Lattanzio. She’s clearly got a heart of gold and a genuine concern for the welfare of her animals. Unlike so many who wear that crazy cat lady tag, I can’t detect any loose screws.

So hats off to you, Ms Lattanzio, and keep up the good work!
