Bungee jumping seems like an exhilarating pastime, but one thing holds me back. I’m just not prepared to trust my life to a bungee cord. Many have told me the sport is completely safe, but this news video proves otherwise.
In it we hear the amazing tale of Mark Afforde. His story is amazing because his bungee cord snapped, yet he survived. And it’s even more amazing because despite the scare, he’s ready to do it all again.
The bungee jumping I mean. He’s probably not lining up for another broken bungee cord. But I still question his sanity. The first time my cord failed would be the last time I’d bungee jump!
