Despite growing up in the 1980s, I have never successfully solved a Rubik’s Cube. The people who solve them in seconds floor me. But I wonder whether they’d be so confident taking on the big daddy of them all: the Pentaminx.
This custom-built puzzle features almost 1000 moving parts. Its construction took place over two months. But you can almost guarantee that solving it would take so much longer.
This puzzler seems almost hesitant to make that first twist, and I don’t blame it. That’s the point when you know there’s no turning back. And if he’s anything like me, the Pentaminx will never look as perfect again!
