Tonight The X Factor contestants sang for the last time in the hopes of earning Australia’s votes. The evening saw them pairing up with some industry stars for some surprising duets. While most fell flat, Reece Mastin and Kylie Minogue showed the others how it’s done.
When I heard teen rocker Reece would sing with the Aussie pop princess I was concerned, but tackling “Kids” made perfect sense. The pair gelled from the get go and the crowd lapped up their chemistry.
The performance might not see him winning the competition, but at least he’s gone out on a high.
