The top 12 American Idol contestants have been decided on, with four more singers that just weren’t good enough to stick around being sent home, back to their humdrum lives where no one knows who they are.

This video shows some of the Idol top 12 talking about their experience in getting through at a party in Los Angeles held in their honor.

The final 12 are Lee Dewyze, Tim Urban, Mike Lynche, Aaron Kelly, Andrew Garcia, Casey James, Katie Stevens, Didi Benami, Paige Miles, Siobhan Magnus, Crystal Bowersox, and Lacey Brown.

I have to that this line-up looks a little weak from where I’m sitting. There are a couple of good singers in there, but even they aren’t world class. And as for the rest? They stand little chance of having long and fulfilling careers.

The worst season of American Idol ever? Possibly.
