American Student Makes Mario Kart Video | Grad Students Hoon on Chibikart

Charles Guan, an MIT grad student, has guaranteed his place in university folklore by creating a working Chibikart. For those outside the geeky realm, he’s made one of the speedy vehicles from Mario Kart!

The student’s Chibikart measures 30 inches and can reach speeds of up 26 miles per hour. However as he’s hooning around the halls with his mates, it seems like the cart might be traveling even faster.

The lads seem to have a pretty good handle on the Chibikart though. I must admit, I spend the video’s entirety waiting for them to crash out.

What would you give to take this Chibikart for a spin?
