The anti-piracy people have been putting out some ads that are meant to be thought-provoking. But the number of parodies that have been popping up all over the Internet just goes to show how seriously they are taken. Even TV shows such as The IT Crowd are getting in on the act.

This clip from the show features a hilarious take on those anti-piracy ads. In the beginning, the advertisement resembles one that many of us have seen at the beginning of DVDs. But it takes a rather twisted turn, and by the time it’s over you’re laughing at the absurdity of it all.
