You may be aware of the relatively recent trend where people record videos of themselves unboxing a new gadget or piece of equipment. The first one I saw was for the original Apple iPhone, and now we have the iPhone 3GS.

This is a brilliant video because it shows a real unboxing, as in this is the Apple iPhone 3GS being opened, but it’s also a spoof take on other unboxing videos. People go into so much detail, detail we really don’t need.

The guy spends ages on the outside of the box, detailing where the Apple logo appears and reading the description on the back. And then he opens the box and his commentary on his iPhone 3GS unboxing gets even funnier.

Towards the end he starts pulling random things such as corn holders and bananas out of the iPhone 3GS box. The main joke is that he throws the iPhone to one side and never actually talks about it, which is almost accurate as to how some of these unboxing vids are conducted.
