As a resident of Atlanta, Georgia I couldn’t believe the insane weather today. Within a matter of hours more than 20 inches of rain fell and caused schools to be canceled and highways to be blocked off.

Waking up to having 5 inches of water in my car was a pretty bad start to my day, but looking at some of these pictures in this news video make me realize just how lucky I was.

Why the major media (CNN, FOX) isn’t covering any of this is still a mystery. You’d think that after 3 deaths the headlines would change. At the moment, The Weather Channel and internet sites seem to be the only ones acknowledging the severity of the floods.
