AT&T Spying On Internet Traffic Video | The Government Is Reading Your Email

31 sec read

Former AT&T employee Mark Klein just made enemies with the NSA. While working for his company, he found out that all of the Internet traffic was being copied via fiber optic cables and stored in a “secret room.”

As it turns out, there are even more rooms like that one around the United States. And one of those rooms may be tracking your Internet activity right now.

When I first saw this video, I could help but think – this is the next generation of wiretapping! Clearly the U.S. government has been a bit paranoid since 9/11, but I, like most Americans, thought that The Patriot Act was as far as it went.

While the Bush administration was quick to say that the spying was only being done on a handful of suspects, Mark Klein knows the truth: everyone is a suspect to the NSA.
