I have heard of and seen regular surfing. It’s an amazing sport that takes more bravery and skill than I could muster.

But I think even some of the best surfers might shy away from this extreme form of their sport:

Glacier surfing.

I couldn’t quite believe it until I saw it, but these guys use the waves caused by ice chunks – ice chunks big enough to kill them – falling off glaciers to surf in freezing waters.

I can’t decide if they have too much time (and money, for that matter) on their hands or if they are the new thrill seekers. Either way, this video is awesome.
