Zombies are now everywhere, having made it into movies, television shows, books, and video games in their droves in recent years. But what about animation? Animation with Lego in particular?

This is a magnificent attempt at bringing the horrific elements of the zombie genre to stop-motion animation with Lego. We see a group of survivors enter a store in order to wipe out their zombie foes.

Once the lights are turned off by someone or other (an intelligent zombie perhaps) mayhem ensues, with the survivors being picked off until just one remains.

There are some great cinematic techniques on display here, some I would never have thought of using in an animated short. Whoever made this surely has a bright future ahead of them in film-making and animation.
