I reckon it’s still pretty effective torture even if it just goes part of the way in. Ouchies.
That’s a pretty awesome experiment and all, but dang, it is pretty disgusting when you realize that people were actually put through that kind of treatment. Ugh.
But, pair that with water deprivation and starvation, I imagine 99% of the people you capture are going to sing loudly when you prod them to finally talk.
So much for the ‘myth’ of bamboo torture. The good news is that at least you know which plant to pick if you want something that’s really tough!
