Lyrebirds in Australia can mimic any sound they hear. Nobody knows why they have this talent, but they are incredibly good at it.

It is not uncommon to go walking in the bush and think you are hearing a chainsaw or ax cutting down a tree when in reality there is a lyrebird tucked away in a small clearing trying to get some action.

In this ‘slight modification’ of the David Attenborough special, the lyrebird goes one on one with Attenborough.

Unusually, for once, David Attenborough has met his match in the wild. As any Aussie male will tell you, Aussie birds rock.
