Yo-yos are fun when you’re a kid. Most of us outgrow them around the beginning of the teenage years, but most of us can’t do insane tricks like the ones in this video, either.

I would be hesitant to try a lot of these tricks for fear that I would end up bound and gagged by string when it was all over with. But these yo-yo pros make it look virtually effortless, making complicated string patterns and slinging and bouncing their yo-yos all over the place.

I never would have imagined that watching a yo-yo competition would be anything other than boring. But I stand corrected.
