Beats by Dre, the brand beloved by people who value style over substance (and have money to burn), has released a new set of headphones.
Called the Powerbeats Pro, these are wireless, over-the-ear headphones. Which should help differentiate them from Apple’s own AirPods.
The over-the-ear loops means these will be better to use at the gym, which is impossible with the AirPods, which would just fall out and end up down the drain.
The Powerbeats Pro from Beats by Dre are due to be released in May and cost $250. At that price I think I’ll be keeping my hands firmly in my pockets.
