Adorable nine year old Lin Miaoke who sang during the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympics isn’t actually singing. As it turns out, the real owner of that sweet voice was deemed not cute enough for the opening ceremony.

Okay, so the nine year old is cute, but how could you do that to the other little girl? Way to show her that people can take what they want from you and leave the rest behind.

It’s still an honor to take part in the opening ceremony, but it’s a shame Yang Peiyi couldn’t be there to sing the song herself.
