I have definitely been in a situation where I was working hard to suppress the giggles, knowing the timing was not right.
It happened just the other day on a conference call, this guy said “umkay” just like the counselor on South Park, and I had to mute the phone to give it a good laugh out loud.
However, as in this instance of live TV, we all know too well there is no “mute” button. This daytime talk show Host in Belgium is interviewing a man who “accidentally” lost a testicle; the Host cannot interview him with a straight face and laughs obnoxiously every time the guest speaks in his, now, high-pitched voice.
No one in the audience is laughing and neither are the guests for that matter. Thankfully there are subtitles so we get a better gist of what is going on, but I found it funny with or without. Laughter is contagious, but this audience is as stoned-face as any I’ve ever seen.
Wow, I wonder what this Host smoked before he headed out on stage.
