Big Brother UK is just airing its tenth season, with a week of birthday celebrations planned to commemorate the anniversary. But Big Brother US is now on its eleventh season, with the show making its debut last week, and the first nominations now having been revealed.

There’s always a planned twist to the show, and this year’s Big Brother is no exception. This video shows the official 12 Big Brother house mates. But there was soon to be a thirteenth, and he’s Jesse from Big Brother 10.

His job was to spend the first few days in the house getting to know everyone in order to nominate two of them for eviction. The 12 were also divided into The Athletes, the Popular Crowd, the Brains and the Off-Beat, well-known cliques from high school.

In the end, Jesse nominated Lydia and Chima to be the first evicted. Chima is the early favorite to go, but one thing Big Brother on both sides of the Atlantic is known for is surprises. So it could be Lydia instead.
