Bill Gates is one of the richest people in the world, often topping the table thanks to his net worth of tens of billions of dollars.

I don’t begrudge Gates his incredible wealth. Especially as he has committed to doing good things with his money. However, it does mean Bill Gates is a little out of touch.

Ellen DeGeneres put Gates’ knowledge of the real world to the test by asking him to guess the price of groceries most of us buy every week.

Gates failed rather spectacularly, only guessing the price of dental floss correctly. He had to ask the audience for help with everything else.
