Billy Mays, probably best known for his role as the television pitch man for Oxy Clean, has been found dead by his wife.

Hollywood might not feel the blow of Billy Mays’ death quite as keenly as recent celebrity deaths, but he was a minor celebrity of the people and will be missed.

Even I, someone who didn’t watch a heck of a lot of television during my childhood, know who Billy Mays is and I am very sad over his sudden death.

Though he was a salesman among salesman, his enthusiasm showed through and you couldn’t help but smile when watching him do his thing.
