This is Clint Eastwood giving what has to be the worst performance of his career, a career that includes some fairly shocking displays of bad acting.

Clint Eastwood was the surprise speaker on the final day of the Republican National Convention, and boy did he deliver a surprise. One that managed to go viral on the InterWebs and completely overshadow Mitt Romney’s big moment in the sun.

Eastwood chose to do a bit of a skit which saw him talking to an empty chair on which this 82-year-old man wanted us to believe an invisible Barack Obama was sitting. Or perhaps he didn’t explain it very well.

It was a shambling, kinda sad showing that means the RNC has closed with people across social networking sites mocking the GOP and Romney. Whoever booked Eastwood will be lucky to hold on to their job.
