Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is officially out today, although some stores broke the street date and sold copies prematurely.

This video shows the launch trailer, the official footage released in order to persuade us who are still unsure about buying the game to put our hands in our pockets.

The game is now out for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. It’s a first-person shooter directly following on from the first Modern Warfare game, which in turn was the first Call of Duty game to leave World War II and move into the present day.

There is some controversy surrounding the game because of its RRP, dodgy promotional material, and stunted multiplayer options. But Modern Warfare 2 is still due to sell millions of copies. Because, at the end of the day, it’s a brilliant game.
