Cats are very strange creatures. They halve their time between demanding attention and wishing you’d leave them alone, they’re fussy, they’re ignorant, they have mad half hours, and a lot more weird shit besides. But despite all this I love the little critters.
This video shows why cat lovers love cats. It shows a kitty enjoying being manhandled around on the floor, pushed and spun in all directions for no apparent reason. And yet the cat absolutely loves it.
I’m assuming the cat loves it but the look on its face actually makes it look a little drugged up. I can only assume the friction on the carpet and rugs anesthetizes it into some sort of state of ecstasy.
The camera angles used in this video are brilliant, with the cat zooming past the lens really close. In fact, it works so well it would probably make a great music video for Dead or Alive’s You Spin Me Round, which is playing over the top.
