Celebrating Car Talk Video | Tom Magliozzi Of Click and Clack the Tappet Brothers

Tom Magliozzi, one half of Click and Click the Tappet Brothers, has passed away at the age of 77. He died from complication arising from Alzheimer’s disease.

This video is a celebration of Car Talk, the weekly radio show Tom hosted with his brother Ray. It reveals how they built the show up from nothing into a national institution.

The Magliozzi brothers were no ordinary car mechanics, having both obtained engineering degrees from MIT. However, their passion was for repairing cars, and that passion bubbled through into Car Talk.

Car Talk has been off the air for two years, and the death of Tom Magliozzi means there will be no more new episodes. Fortunately, there are plenty of old episodes in the archive that are still worth listening to.
