Dairy Queen was literally giving away ice cream on Monday (March 16), with a free cone day marking its 75th anniversary.
If you’re reading this then you’re too late to get your free vanilla ice cream cone. But there will be plenty more opportunities in the future.
Dairy Queen has been in existence since 1940, which is a stunning achievement for any business. It just goes to show how popular ice cream is, and has remained so over the decades.
This video shows some guy driving to Dairy Queen to get a free ice cream. Which may well have cost him more in gas than the ice cream was worth. But still. I just wish he’d said please and thank you to the server!
