Chandler is showing off his new laptop; a new laptop that features “12 Mb of RAM, a 500 Mb hard drive, built-in spreadsheet capability, and a modem that transmits at over 28,000 BPS.” Whatever that might mean.
Not only are the specs woefully outdated, the laptop looks like a box with a screen, which is very different than the likes of the MacBook Air and Chromebooks we’re used to today.
The scary thing is how people will look back in 10 years at the devices we use now. I suspect they’ll wonder how we managed with phones we actually had to lift to our ears.
