Tim Curry’s built a career from playing some of cinema’s most acclaimed creepsters, from Rocky Horror’s cross-dressing Dr Frank N Furter to It’s psychotic clown Pennywise. And then there are the not so applauded nasties, like his turn as The Grand Wizard in the 80s telemovie, The Worst Witch.

While many love to revel in the creepiest elements on Halloween, fraidy cats like me prefer a little cheese. This song from the movie gives us the whole block of cheddar.

“Anything Can Happen on Halloween” is truly dreadful, from the inane lyrics to the terrible special effects. Yet Tim Curry pulls it off with such magnetic aplomb that it’s so hard to look away!c
