This year’s season of Australia’s Got Talent is shaping up to be very interesting indeed thanks to some amazing child voices. Last week I introduced you to 15-year-old opera singer Mark Vincent. Now meet Chelsea Castillo.

I must admit, when I heard this 10-year-old would sing “I’m Not Going” from Dreamgirls I was pretty skeptical. Yes she’s a cutie, but that song needs serious pipes. But incredibly, Chelsea has them.

This performance isn’t without its flaws. As a dedicated viewer of Idol I spotted a few pitchy moments. But in terms of raw talent, Chelsea floored me. If she can sing this well at ten, I can only imagine what her future might hold.
