Andy Williams has died at the age of 84 after a long battle with cancer. This video shows him at the height of his fame, singing Moon River from the movie Breakfast At Tiffany’s in 1962.

Williams enjoyed a solo singing career for many years, starting all the way back in 1953. The high point was this song, and it became his trademark despite never being released as a single.

The Andy Williams Show ran weekly between 1962 and 1971 and was broadcast around the world. There were still intermittent Christmas specials being made into the 1990s.

Williams spent his latter years running the Andy Williams Moon River Theater in his home town of Branson, Missouri. He died at his home surrounded by his wife and children.
