While it’s undoubtedly clever to have a robot playing snooker, did he really need to be programmed to be such an arrogant idiot?
This robot isn’t actually playing snooker, of course. Instead, he has been programmed to follow a particular set of instructions time and time again.
First he winds his cue around the balls, and then he lines up the shot. After successfully potting the red he gives us all the finger before bowing to the crowd and doing a victory dance.
If all robots are programmed to be this smug then I’d rather our dystopian future was like that of The Matrix. Where I am used as nothing more than a battery.
