Dr. Edward Rondthaler has learned a lot in his 103 years. He’s a noted typographist and the chairman of the American Literary Council. He’s a master of the English language, but he can still see how absurd it is.

In this video Dr. Ed shows us just how confusing English spelling must be for anyone trying to learn it. Nothing seems to be spelled, or said, quite the way you expect it to be!

I’ve seen people present similar ideas before, but never in such a fun and entertaining way. I’m particularly impressed with the way he can flip his book to the right spots to make his points!
