Cloverfield is now the official title for the J.J. Abrams project that was previously known as 1/18/08, which now turns out to be merely the release date of the film in the US.
This is the brand new theatrical trailer for the film, which as only 2 months away from release is probably the final cut.
The film looks stunning, and with J.J. Abrams (the main man on Lost) in charge, I don;t think it’ll disappoint once it comes out and we all rush off to see it at the cinema.
The film looks to be shot entirely on home camera, or that’s the illusion being given off at least, and in that sense reminds me heavily of The Blair Witch Project.
The makers of Cloverfield have used the web, and the medium of viral video superbly, and everyone seems to be talking about this movie. Now I can’t wait to go and see it for real.
