The man who reportedly shot and killed thirteen people at the American Civic Association in Binghamton, New York has been identified as Jiverly Voong – otherwise known as Linh Phat Voong.

Though this report suggests the gunman is a twenty-something man, Jiverly Voong is actually in his forties (with conflicting reports as to whether he is 42 or 45).

No one really knows his motivations yet, and they certainly won’t be able to ask Voong himself. After the shooting, he also took his own life, raising the death toll for the entire incident to fourteen.

There are still others who are in critical condition.
