Despite a lot of criticism from different sources, President Bush put the United States NASA on the track to building lunar bases and possibly living on the moon.
Though the moon has long been thought a rather barren place, the prospect of living there still brings excitement to many people.
Even so, a part of me has to laugh harshly at all of this. The US economy is sliding – effecting the rest of the world as well – we still have starvation and even lower testing standards for education…
Yeah, building a lunar base wouldn’t exactly be on my primary to-do list.
