Concierge.com, the site that dubs itself as the place to find ‘inspired travel’ has launched 57 new online video ‘Insider Guides’ to hotels, restaurants, nightlife and shops in some of the world’s biggest cities.
The videos shot in New York, Paris, London, Miami, and Rio de Janerio allow users to experience some the locations’ top attractions in 30-second bite size chunks, capturing the essence of the destination and giving them idea of what to expect before they go.
“Adding video ‘Insider Guides’ will give travelers a first-person, real-time perspective on the places they’re planning to visit,” said Peter J. Frank, editor in chief of Concierge.com. “The videos really capture the energy and spirit of a place in a way that words and pictures alone can’t do.”
Hotel and holiday destination brochures often give a sugarcoated representation of themselves, so Concierge’s videos will at least give a truer reflection of what you can expect before you jet off. Very handy, indeed.
