These days it seems anyone can have a reality TV show: parents with too many children, really fat people, and even conjoined twins. In efforts to bring something fresh to the tired TV genre, TLC is launching Abby & Brittany.

Abby and Brittany are conjoined twins with two heads and an oversized body. Just like most teens they love riding bikes and dancing. They even graduated from college, and they’re preparing to embark upon a career. Just the one career mind you, because being a conjoined twin makes choosing separate vocations a tall order.

This could prove to be a heart-warming slice of television, or the channel may turn the girls’ story into a freak show. Given the reputation of reality TV, I won’t hold out hope for the former!
