This is the new Pepsi television commercial. And it’s fair to say it’s proved rather controversial. But then what doesn’t cause controversy these days?!

The ad shows a potential flashpoint developing, with the police on one side and a group of protesters on the other side.

Kendall Jenner then joins the protesters, because she’s really just one of us, grabs a Pepsi, and offers it to the police. Hurrah, crisis averted!

People are freaking out because they claim this is making light of real protests. But it isn’t really. It’s just a corporation using real-life events to sell their product. Meh.
