Online video has given people the chance to be stars. Ordinary everyday folk now have the chance to become famous the world over and all without needing to make it onto television.

Ely Kim has just managed exactly that, and he should enjoy his five minutes of fame while it lasts. His talent? Demonstrating 100 different dances to 100 different songs in 100 different locations.

Some of these dances are better than others. Some fit in with the songs perfectly while others seem to have been just random and involuntary movements. Maybe Kim is an epileptic and just managed to capture a couple of his fits on camera.

I enjoyed this video but I’d have enjoyed it a whole lot more had it been a woman doing the dancing. If that had been the case, I’d have had no trouble sitting and watching for the duration. As it is, I only made it to number 50 before giving up.

There’s a lesson there for anyone looking to have a viral video hit.
