I don’t remember ever having seen the First Lady of any previous U.S. President dancing on television. But Michelle Obama pulled it off, and in spectacular fashion.

This video shows President Obama’s wife dancing on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, with, yep, you guessed it, Jimmy Fallon. In a wig.

The two perform The Evolution Of Mom Dancing, obviously inspired by The Evolution Of Dance, a viral video from many years ago which starred Judson Laipply.

Michelle Obama did this in order to promote her Let’s Move! campaign which aims to fight childhood obesity in America. Dancing in any fashion for a few minutes each day would be a good start, hence this performance.
