You don’t have to love classical music to enjoy this clever advertisement from Switzerland’s Zurich Chamber Orchestra.

The sheet music for this soaring piece becomes a rollercoaster, taking us along for the ride as it hits towering crescendos and plummets to deep diminuendos.

This is so simply done, but so effective. I found myself exhilarated as I followed the melody’s twists and turns. The animation is basic and without special effects, but it puts you right in the middle of the action and forces you to feel the grandeur of this music.

If this is any indication, perhaps I should book a night out with the orchestra!
